SAP Panel

The SAP tab is accessed from the Query Options panel, and only appears for queries using an SAP connection type. It allows users to specify, if desired, the name of a secondary database connection to be used for processing the query.

Use the following table to enter data in the SAP panel:

Secondary DB Connection

For SAP Designer GLs only, if desired, select the name of the secondary database connection to be used for processing the query.

Include SAP 'AS' Alias

If selected, when the SQL statement is built, aliases are identified as AS alias name. This option must be selected in order to sort a grouped query. When this option is selected, special character restrictions are enforced for SAP alias names.
