Query Canvas
Query Canvas is used to visually layout a query. Query tables and relationships are displayed in this panel.
- When a query is opened in Query Designer, the Query Canvas panel appears.
- If the name and/or description is too long to display, ellipses appear at the end of the table name.
- Hover the cursor over the table name to show a tooltip, displaying the full table name and description.

Description |

Right-click the grey space outside the relationship lines. The Add Tables panel appears, allowing the user to select additional tables. |

Move a Table |
Click and drag the table header to the desired location. |
Resize a Table |
Hover the cursor over the border of the table, then click and drag to the desired size. |
Click a table field, then drag it to the appropriate field in another table. |

Double-click on a relationship line, or, select a relationship line, and, right-click (see Create a Relationship for more information). |

Double-click the desired field, or, click and drag the field, to add it to the selected fields in the Field List panel. To select multiple fields, select the desired fields, right-click, then select Add to Query, to add the selected fields to the list (see Fields Used Directly from Source Table for more information). |
