The General Ledger (GL
) reporting feature of insightsoftware's Spreadsheet Server converts familiar spreadsheet software, Microsoft Excel, to a tightly-integrated analytical tool for financial systems. Spreadsheet Server uses specific formulas to retrieve General Ledger data in the spreadsheet, and gives the user the ability to drill down to detail.
